Xperia X1

Xperia X1 is the flag ship smart phone from Sony Ericsson. X1 is first out in what seems to be a new line of mobile smart phones based on Microsoft Windows Mobile.

X1 has already been released in the UK, Germany and Sweden. The rest of the world will just have to wait a little more. Sony Ericsson has published a list of countries for which release dates will be announced later this year.

With a real keyboard and a three inch wide VGA-screen the Xperia X1 is a fantastic combination of a handheld computer and a mobile phone. It enables you to work outside the office or use multimedia functionality to enteratin yourself. All you have to do is touch the touchscreen to open up a world of possibilities. The TFT-display itself has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and displays 65 536 colours.

Connect to the Internet using high speed 3G (HSDPA) or WiFi and the built in browser.

The mobile phone is 110 x 53 x 16,7 mm and weighs 145 grams. It comes in black, plain and simple. Sony Ericsson calls it “Solid Black”.

Most mobile phones come with a digital camera and the X1 has a built in 3.2 megapixel digital camera and a light for taking pictures.

You won’t get lost with Xperia X1 it has a built in GPS as well.
