			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>HTC Desire premieres in September - one of the sharpest Android phones</strong></p>
<p>Desire is based on the latest version of Android, combined with a 3.7 inch AMOLED touchscreen with zoom functionality. Resolution is 480 x 800 pixels WVGA. </p>
<p>Thus the platform is Android 2.1 (Eclair) with HTC Sense and the processor, a Snapdragon from Qualcomm, is at 1 GHz. The internal memory consists of a ROM of 512 MB and 576 MB of RAM. Expandable up to 32GB with microSD. </p>
<p>For internet connectivity you can use both Turbo 3G, GPRS and EDGE as usual wireless LAN (WLAN also known as Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b / g). This means that the mobile networks in Europe and Asia is suitable. HSPA / WCDMA and GSM in all four frequencies (850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz). </p>
<p>The more traditional connectivity options are a normal stereo headphone of 3.5mm and Micro USB. </p>
<p>Moreover, there is also a built-in GPS and thus a digital compass. </p>
<p><strong>Multimedia</strong><br />
HTC Desire, in addition to a built-in FM radio is also capable of playing music, videos and displaying photos. </p>
<p>Supported audio formats are aac, amr, ogg, m4a, mid, mp3, wav and wma. For audio recording it uses the amr format. </p>
<p>Video formats supported for playback are 3GP, 3G2, MP4 and wmv and 3gp for video recording. </p>
<p>The camera is a color camera of 5 megapixels with autofocus and flash.  The functionality also includes face recognition, wide-angle photography and geotagging. </p>
<p>Weight 135 grams.</p>

<p>Serious flaws in the study&#8217;s design and contradicting results from national research teams has brought the study to chaos. The scientist are busy disagreeing with each other, according to <a href="http://www.economist.com/science/displaystory.cfm?story_id=12295222">The Economist</a>.</p>
<p>Wether mobile phones causes cancer seems to remain a question unanswered.</p>

<p><strong>Xperia X1 is the flag ship smart phone from Sony Ericsson. X1 is first out in what seems to be a new line of mobile smart phones based on Microsoft Windows Mobile.</strong></p>
<p>X1 has already been released in the UK, Germany and Sweden. The rest of the world will just have to wait a little more. Sony Ericsson has published a list of countries for which release dates will be announced later this year.</p>
<p><strong>With a real keyboard</strong> and a three inch wide VGA-screen the Xperia X1 is a fantastic combination of a handheld computer and a mobile phone. It enables you to work outside the office or use multimedia functionality to enteratin yourself. All you have to do is touch the touchscreen to open up a world of possibilities. The TFT-display itself has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and displays 65 536 colours.</p>
<p><strong>Connect to the Internet</strong> using high speed 3G (HSDPA) or WiFi and the built in browser.</p>
<p>The mobile phone is 110 x 53 x 16,7 mm and weighs 145 grams. It comes in black, plain and simple. Sony Ericsson calls it &#8220;Solid Black&#8221;.</p>
<p>Most mobile phones come with a digital camera and the X1 has a built in 3.2 megapixel digital camera and a light for taking pictures.</p>
<p>You won&#8217;t get lost with Xperia X1 it has a built in GPS as well.</p>
